SLC VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL N-N, MAGGIE YANDOH 1000 POINTS

Maggie Yandoh of St. Lawrence Central School scored her 1,000th career point last night after sinking this foul shot. Her efforts helped her team defeat Norwood-Norfolk Central 57-21. She is the second female basketball player at SLC to accomplish this goal, LC 57, Norwood-Norfolk 21: In a matchup of Class C rivals at Brasher Falls, the Lady Larries (6-9, 3-6) raced out to a commanding 19-6 lead by the end of the first quarter. The highlight of the game came with 5:01 left in the first quarter when senior Maggi Yandoh connected for her 1,000th career point. She finished with a game-high 23 points followed by Marissa McLean with 13, Mackenzie Moreau with nine, Abbi Lemieux with seven, Kenadee Love with three and Brooke Rubado with two.
